Born in China, Chun-Yan was raised in an artistic Family, where she was inspired to develop her unique style. Working mainly in oil and pastels, Chun-Yan employs her classically trained drawing skills along with her sense of composition and color to create stunningly beautiful landscapes and portraits. Fresh, clean color as well as a keen focus on the emotion of the subject matter is the hallmark of Chun-Yan's work.

  With a degree in Fine Art, Chun-Yan's art has received many awards including 'Best of Show' at the Riverfront Renaissance Center's annual Associate Artist Exhibition along with many first place awards from the Ocean City Art Center and the Ocean City Art League of New Jersey.

  Chun-Yan continues to teach at her studio in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey.
